Description

The aim of the World Café method is to bring together large groups of 50 to 200 people in an informal atmosphere for intensive discussions, discussions and brainstorming in order to find a common challenge. In this way, the collective knowledge and intelligence of the group can be used to define problems, identify requirements and develop new ideas for solutions to complex issues.

The central idea of this method is the relaxed atmosphere of a street café in which people chat casually. The participants typically sit at small round café tables, where four to five people can sit.

World Cafés often take place in international corporations, political organizations, communities, cities, associations, etc. The method is particularly effective for heterogeneous, mixed groups of participants who are affected by a common topic. She's a good place to be.
- to bring together different points of view on one topic,
- to draw up an action plan within a short period of time,
- develop strategies together
- to give feedback and resonance to suggestions already worked out and, if necessary, to work out suggestions for improvement
- in the context of project evaluations or the collection of intermediate results.

A regular side-effect is the networking of the participants, which happens almost incidentally through the interactive discussion rounds.
