Description
C&S means consequences and sequels. This method describes de Bono as a means of looking at the consequences of an approach/idea in specific temporal effects. In the original the method is called c&s (consequences and sequel) and in German-speaking countries it is sometimes called ZUF (Zukünftige Folgen) -Technik.
Here an idea or a question is put to the test in its immediate, short-term (one to five years), medium-term (five to 20 years) and long-term (longer than 20 years) sequence. This helps to deal with the consequences of a particular approach.
The method is particularly helpful when several similar ideas have been developed and a decision is required as to which option is the best or most suitable for further development or implementation.
