Description

The term Open Innovation refers to the opening of innovation processes from companies to the outside world. The aim is to use the added knowledge to increase the potential for innovation.

There are basically three different forms of Open Innovation:
1 Outside-in: The ideas come from outside and are used, for example, by license fees in the company for innovations.

2nd Inside-out: New processes have already emerged in the company, which are, for example, outsourced by founding a start-up.

3. cooperative: ideas are developed together, through cooperation processes between manufacturer and supplier can be optimized.
