Visualization of converging fields and topics in order to be able to recognize the chances for innovations by the overlaps in the map.

The Convergence Map shows how areas of daily life or industries overlap and how new behavior can emerge from this dynamic.

With a visualization that shows these overlapping areas, teams can more efficiently discuss and deduce how and whether new customer activities and needs arise. The Convergence Map is very often typically used in the early stages of understanding Design Thinking and Lean Startup projects.

This method is particularly worthwhile for companies that want to innovate fundamentally or to disrupt into other markets. This method makes it possible to identify and discuss fundamental relationships between markets, industries and broad needs.
